MY WISH
Here's hoping that someone finds my site useful! I am used to mentoring new teachers, and I hope this website helps Grade 4 teachers from all over Ontario. This will be my first year teaching Grade 4 since 2010, so I'm open to some great ideas! When I started teaching in 1999, I had two wonderful mentors who helped make my first couple of years enjoyable. I thank these mentors; Margaret Lato and Sheila Gallagher to this day! They are both wonderful educators!
I have password-protected my assignments for only one reason...........for the hope that teachers will email me and request the password! What I ask in return is that whoever uses these assignments please let me know how their class enjoyed (or didn't enjoy) the units and assignments via the Teacher's Blog Page. I am still working on 21st century Lesson Design, and making my lessons creative enough for students to enjoy! I would LOVE to hear from you!
If teachers have been inspired, and/or modified some of these plans, please also let myself and other teachers know on the Teacher's blog page. Teaching should not be competitive, we are all working together to benefit our future generations! As a wise one once said....two heads are better than one!

The world has changed since the advent of the computer! I have been teaching since 1996, and each year brings new technology or teaching pedagogy. With these changes, my classroom has constantly changed! Don't be frightened of new technology....all of the sites I recommend are highly user-friendly!
During my past years in the educational field, I have taught Special Education, ESL, library, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6. As I was making this site, there were many websites that were invaluable to me. Here are some pointers to get anyone started:
