Frequent Websites Used:
Kids Dictionaries: EXPAND YOUR VOCABULARY! In this new technological age, I haven't used a paper dictionary to look up the meaning of a word! Learning alphabetical order is a valuable skill, and we can teach this in many ways. Kid's Search Engines There are many search engines you can use (besides GOOGLE) that are kid-friendly. Students need to learn the skill of researching facts on the internet. In order to do this independently, they need to understand what they are reading! This is vitally important. By using a search engine geared to children, you can do this easily! Personally, I enjoy using this one: Kiddle Search Engine (Google's Child!)
