Thanksgiving

Canadian Thanksgiving is on the second Monday of October.  It is a holiday that we spend with family, thanking God for everything we have in our lives.  In October, we celebrate the virtue of Gratitude.  Students will write various prayers, and poems thanking God for everything in their lives that they cherish.

This term, we are learning how to write a paragraph that states the main idea, and some supporting details of a text.  We will do this by using this story, and our level 4 example of the text.
